The Original Hub of Sudan’s Steel Revolution Established in 2006, the Khartoum Steel Plant was the very first facility launched under Zat Al-Emad Group marking the beginning of a bold journey to localize Sudan’s steel industry. As the Group’s foundation, this plant set the tone for innovation, scale, and industrial leadership.

Located in the capital, the plant is strategically positioned to serve high-demand areas across central Sudan. It remains one of the largest and most active production hubs in the country.

  • 3 hangars, each covering 10,000 square meters
  • 30,000 m² total production footprint
  • Monthly production capacity: 6,000 tons
  • Fully equipped with advanced rolling, cutting, and forming lines
  • In-house laboratory for quality assurance and material testing

Product Specialization

The Khartoum plant offers a comprehensive range of steel products including

  • Reinforcement bars (Rebar)
  • Galvanized steel sheets
  • Coils, pipes, and structural steel
  • Cut-to-size and custom-engineered components
