Steel Plant — Wad Medani

An Emerging Industrial Hub in Central Sudan The Wad Medani Steel Plant is currently under construction and will soon serve as Zat Al-Emad Group’s central production hub for the Gezira region and surrounding states.

Designed to mirror the capacity and structure of the Khartoum facility, this plant will feature three large hangars with a combined production footprint of 30,000 square meters.

Once operational, the plant is expected to produce up to 6,000 tons of steel per month, supplying reinforcement bars, galvanized sheets, coils and structural components to support infrastructure projects throughout central Sudan.

Its strategic location in Wad Medani positions it to reduce delivery times, lower logistics costs, and meet the growing demand for high quality construction materials in the region.
